Cultural Event

So Also during August we had a cultural event in which each ward in our stake represented a country, our ward chose to represent Japan. The Young Men played the drums, and the young women performed a fan dance. Our performance and Tonga's performance were the best, but they copied us so their triumph isn't as col as ours. While the other ward's were performing we had some down time so we took picture's and messed around in our room, which we weren't technically allowed to leave. At the end of our performance we sang "I am a Child of God" in Japanese

This is me and Caroline in our cute little outfits.

These are all the youth in our ward that performed.

This was during the rehearsal's which we got too watch.

his was during our down time, before we had to go on stage.

This is Me Serenading Caroline with something, I actually have no idea what these stick things are, unless they're drumsticks.

First Away Game (it ROCKED!!!)

So Last night was our first away game. It was at Hanford West whch is somewhere near Fresno.
Our J.V. lost 50 to 0, and our Varsity lost 45 to 7, I think that their team let us get that last touchdown because they felt bad for us. But their school is so spirited, they had a marching band, a flag team, and every time their cheerleaders led a cheer EVERYONE on their side cheered with them. The Cheerleaders even came over to our side and joined us in cheering on our team, and then we went to their side and did one of our cheers for them, they were so sweet and spirited it was AWESOME. I told mom that and she said that was how it was when she was a cheerleader, but it's nothing like that at our school. the only people that cheer for the cheerleaders when we perform at our school is our drumline, some friends that aren't on the squad, and the parents of the kids on the squad, other than that there's only like five or six people that cheer for us.it's kinda discouraging.

This was one of our stunts at the game last night I'm the right shoulder sit in the front.

This was their Varsity cheer squad mixed in with us. their mascot was a cute Huskie.

This was Katy's Arabesk at the game last night.

I'm backbasing the girl in the middle, her name is Halen.

In this one I'm bacbasing the right pod, and it's a liberty heel stretch.

This is another liberty that I'm backbasing.

This is our 4-2-1 pyramid, it's basically where the 2 flyers on the side hold up the 1 flyer in the middle, and then 4 bases hold up the 2 flyers that are holding up the other 1. I wasn't in this Pyramid because I was sick and they didn't want to overuse their buffest cheerleader.

Finally

This is one of our pyramids, I'm backbasingthe left most hitch pod.
This was our first game and irt was home.

This was our halftime stunt, after we were through with the dance we did.

This is another stunt we performed at our home game, I'm back basing the left-most pod again, this is a simple vadar

This is the squad at one of the practices.

This is jusdt a different view of one of the other pictures.
This is a picture of both JV and Varsity cheer, right before we performed at the football opening dinner.

This is mostly the Varsity squad the first friday of school. Now that we have our cheer uniforms we wear them every friday. Here we're wearing our cheer jersey's.

These are all Vadar's again, at our first game.

This was right before we performed our dance.

I'm in one of these pods but the lighting stinks so it's blurry and I can't be sure, but I think I'm backbasing the middle pod.
another park pic.

This was actually the last day of school last year but I just found it.

I think I'm the tall blurr trying to catch them but this is Katy and Halen falling after a stunt, it was so funny the way they just grabbed onto each other. I can proudly say that I have caught all the flyers I've been in charge of.

We had a couple practices at the park so there's a couple pics.

This is the Pyramid we did at Fiesta Days, we also did basket tosses, if anyone knows what those are.

This is right before we marched for Fiesta days.

We went over to katy Tamulonis's house and just jumped into the pool with our practice clothes on after one of our practices.

This was right before I had to leave the sleep-over.

Another Pool Scene

Well I haven't been able to update anything since we haven't had the internet for the month of August So here's a quick update on what's happening with me:

On August second I performed in the Fiesta Days parade with all the rest of the cheerleaders. School started August 20th I'm taking Physics and Calculus this year, among other classes of course, and I've performed at two games now, the most recent one being last night. So I'm just gonna put up a whole bunch of pics and just give them little headings explaining what they are.
